Can I walk-in to ASC? ›
Early walk-in appointments are available at some Application Support Centers (ASCs). To find out if you can do an early walk-in for your biometrics appointment, you must call your local ASC or U.S. consulate to determine if they allow that.
What is the difference between Uscis field office and application support center? ›

What is an ASC appointment? ›
After a person files an application, petition, or other benefit request, USCIS may schedule a biometric services appointment at a local Application Support Center (ASC). The appointment notice indicates the date, time, and location of the appointment.
