I believe he is referring to cryptocurrency potentially taking over from the banking system.
In particular the reference to SWIFT.
He is alluding to XRP here IMHO.
That is the only cryptocurrency (that I know of) that is destined to take the place of the current SWIFT system, which covers all international transactions.
International FIAT currency transactions can take up to a week or more in some cases.
With XRP and blockchain technology taking over from the SWIFT system…
…a transaction will take less than 10 seconds,
…cost a fraction of what that would cost using FIAT,
…be totally transparent,
…and completely decentralized via blockchain technology. (That basically means there is no third party interfering with the transaction or charging fees etc.)
